Verizon (VZ) subscribers will be able to able to pick up the Samsung (005930) Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 at their local retail stores starting on August 17th. Verizon is selling the 7-inch tablet for $349.99 with no contract required, although users will have to sign up for a Verizon LTE data plan to get the tablet. In terms of specs, the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 features Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, a 1.2 GHz dual-core application processor and 8GB of internal storage. The full press release follows below.
